Scotland Games bosses delay departure of first part of team for team

Scottish Commonwealth Games bosses have delayed the departure of the first part of their team for Delhi.

The decision comes after some of the Commonwealth officials, including Commonwealth Games Federation chief Michael Fennell, expressed "shock" at the unhygienic conditions at the Games Village.

Scotland chief Michael Cavanagh says they're giving the organisers more time to address the concerns that have been raised.

However the England lawns bowls and men's hockey team left London today, while the Northern Ireland team is also sticking to it's original travel plans.

The Welsh will make a decision today while New Zealand bosses are expected to make a final decision tomorrow with the first athletes due to leave on Saturday.
