Phoenix disappointing against Heart

12:24 pm on 20 September 2010

Disappointment for the Wellington Phoenix after they were outplayed by Melbourne Heart, losing 2-1 to the A-League newcomers in Melbourne on Sunday.

Second half goals by John Aloisi and Alex Terra sealed the Heart their second win of the season, although they had to endure a nervous last 15 minutes after Tim Brown had pulled one back in the 75th minute.

The Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert refused to use fatigue as an excuse, saying his side didn't come out of the traps at all.

The Heart now move to seventh on goal difference, just behind the sixth-placed Phoenix.
