The former Socceroos and Brisbane Roar captain Craig Moore has been arrested after an alcohol-related incident in Dubai.
Moore is in jail after an incident that also involved an altercation with police.
The retired footballer will be formally charged today, after which he is expected to appear in a Dubai court.
Moore made more than 50 appearances for the Socceroos and was also the captain of A-League side Brisbane Roar.
The footballer's management is yet to comment on the arrest.
