Waikato coach wary of Southland team 'strong all over the park'

11:16 am on 16 September 2010

The Waikato coach Chris Gibbes is warning his players they must play to the best of their abilities or risk being thumped by the top of the table Southland in their national provincial rugby clash in Hamilton tonight.

The match looms as a golden opportunity for the fifth placed Waikato, who can join the Stags and Canterbury at the top of the competition with a bonus point win.

However Southland have only lost once this season and Gibbes is well aware of the size of the task facing the mooloo.

The game kicks off at 730pm.
