Formula One's ruling body has confirmed a record 20-race season next year with the addition of the Indian Grand Prix.
The new event has been pencilled in for late October on a circuit being built near New Delhi which will have to pass inspection before the event is confirmed.
The FIA has also announced that no entry had met the required standard to fill the vacant 13th team spot, dashing former world champion Jacques Villeneuve's hopes of returning to the grid next year.
