The New Zealand netball coach Ruth Aitken concedes Australia will take a psychological edge into next month's Commonwealth Games in India after the Diamonds wrapped up the inaugural Constellation Cup series with their 46-40 victory over the Silver Ferns in Auckland last night.
The Diamonds won the three game series 2-1 after bouncing back from last Thursday's 19 point drubbing to clinch the decider in convincing fashion.
The Ferns were desperate to maintain their momentum in their last match ahead of the Delhi games and Aitken admits yesterday's loss has handed psychological advantage back to their trans-tasman rivals.
