The Springbok coach Peter de Villiers says there is room for improvement after the come-from-behind 44-31 Tri Nartions rugby win over Australia in Pretoria.
De Villiers has singled out defense as one of the areas that needs attention before Sunday's second test in Bloemfontein.
Although the Springboks conceded four tries he says they have a brilliant defensive system and have to look further than missed tackles or mistakes made by individuals.
And de Villiers says the win has changed the mood after three loses to the All Blacks.
Meanwhile, the Springboks are waiting on news on the availability of three injured players - Butch James, Jannie du Plessis and Flip van der Merwe.
