Taranaki's beaten Bay of Plenty 24-15 in New Plymouth for a third win out of four games in rugby's provincial championship.
The home side led 24-7 at half-time after scoring three tries to one.
Bay of Plenty dominated possesion and territory, especially in the second half - but solid defence and unforced errors restricted them to only a penalty goal and an unconverted try after the break.
