The Wellington Phoenix football side has had it's A league play off chances dented after a 3-2 loss to the Queensland Roar in Brisbane.
With four games to go the round 17 loss leaves the Phoenix fifth in the Australian competition.
The Phoenix twice led the match at Suncorp Stadium but deep in injury time the Roar snatched three points courtesy of a deflected free kick.
Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert says 2-2 probably would have done his side but there was some poor decision-making in the last two minutes and they "copped one".
