Wickets in successive balls by spinner Jeetan Patel has given New Zealand the edge heading towards lunch on the fourth day of the second cricket test against the West Indies in Napier.
The West Indies are 144 for four an overall lead of 80 with six second innings wickets in hand, after Patel removed Xavier Marshall and followed that up next ball by dismissing first innings century maker Shivnarine Chanderpaul, caught and bowled with a full toss.
West Indies captain Chris Gayle is on 81.
