Olympian Catherine Cheatley made it two from two in the BikeNZ National Points Series when she won the Harbour Classic in Christchurch.
Cheatley, formerly from Wanganui but now based in Invercargill, outsprinted Australian Ruth Corset to take out the 80kms race.
Former Olympian Robin Reid upset his more illustrious rivals with a stunning effort to win the men's race, with more than a minute back to fellow Nelson rider Paul Odlin.
He left a classy field, including the Beijing Olympic team pursuit medallists, in his wake in a superb performance, while Napier's Jeremy Yates, who was sixth today, retaining his lead in the series.
