New Zealand cricket selectors make changes for West Indies

The New Zealand cricket selectors have named new cap, Auckland batsman, Tim Mcintosh, and made three recalls ahead of the two test home series against the West Indies.

Bowlers James Franklin, after a long injury break, and spinner Jeetan Patel have earned recalls while all rounder Jacob Oram will also be back in the fold after recent injury.

After the deflating two test series against Australia,Peter Fulton, Chris Martin, Tim Southee and Kyle Mills have been overlooked.

Head of selectors, Glenn Turner, says Martin will benefit from domestic level cricket to rebuild his fitness after injury and the in form Mark Gillespie will be the strike bowler for New Zealand in the series
