The controversial American golfer John Daly is keen to extend his trip to Australia by playing in next month's Australian Open at Royal Sydney.
The big-hitting, chain-smoking Daly demonstrated his crowd-pulling power at the Australian Masters at Huntingdale, despite failing to make the weekend cut after finishing his second round at five-over par.
He will now head to Coolum for next week's Australian PGA, but says he hopes to complete the trio of Australia's major tournaments with a trip to Sydney.
