Basketball Australia has issued a default notice to the owner of the Sydney Spirit after he failed to give them a guarantee that the team would play against South Dragons on Saturday.
Spirit captain Jason Smith says Greg Evans way of dealing with the club has been very strange.
Smith says Evans had been hard to track down lately and should talk to the NBL because there's gwenujine interest in trying to keep the club going.
