Manchester United and Arsenal through to last 16 of Champions League

Holders Manchester United and Spain's Villarreal have cruised into the last 16 of the Champions football League with a game to spare after sharing their fourth successive goalless draw.

The top two have nine points from five matches in Group E, four points ahead of AaB Aalborg of Denmark who beat Celtic 2-1 in Denmark.

Arsenal also advanced to the knockout phase with a one nil win Dynamo Kiev, while Porto's 2-1 win over Turkish club Fenerbahce also saw them through to the final 16.

Other teams to advance inlcude Lyon and Bayern Munich along with Real Madrid and Juventus.
