Aussies delay team naming for Gabba test

The Australian cricket selectors have delayed the naming of their side for the first test against the Black Caps, possibly until just before play starts tomorrow at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Recent rain in Brisbane has limited access to the wicket, forcing selectors to postpone the announcement, meaning an anxious wait for Shane Watson and the returning Andrew Symonds to see who gets the all rounder's role, and off spinner Jason Kreyza who may be left out of the eleven because the Gabba pitch traditionally favours pace bowlers.
