Ingram continues hot form

The New Zealand swimmer Melissa Ingram has continued her hot form in Singapore with another win and a second placing on the first night of finals in the fourth round of the FINA World Cup.

The Beijing Olympian repeated her win in the 200 metres backstroke from Sydney last weekend after earlier finishing second in the 200 freestyle.

Ingram took the lead from South Africa's Melissa Corfe when 50 metres to go and won in 2:05.63 with Australia's 50 metre backstroke world record holder .Sophie Edington third.

And Southland's Wiegersma sisters were also on the podium with 20-year-old Natalie finishing second in the final of the 200 individual medley final and her older sister Joyce third in the 800 freestyle.
