The former Black Cap Geoff Allott has been appointed as New Zealand Cricket's new General Manager of Cricket.
In the new role Allott will be responsible for overseeing the BLACKCAPS and elite cricket functions including coaching, selectors, team support staff and management, as well as cricket operations.
Since retiring from cricket in 2001 Allott has had a career in banking and finance.
