More awards for Vettori after drawn second test

The New Zealand cricket captain Dan Vettori picked up the man of the match and man of the series awards as the rain- affected second test in Dhaka ended in a draw after Bangladesh just avoided the follow on.

The Black Caps won the first match at Chittagong and gave themselves a chance of another victory in a match that lost more than three days to the weather by quickly reducing Bangladesh to 44 for 6.

But the hosts reached the follow on target with a wicket in hand and declared 169 for 9 after lunch, 93 runs behind

Vettori finished with 5 for 66, his 17th five-wicket haul in tests while Iain O'Brien took 3 for 31.

The final session ended early with New Zealand 79 for one.

Vettori says he's pretty happy, but still disappointed that in the first test Bangladesh were on top for some periods.
