New Zealand has ended the Indo Pacific Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Rotorua with

28 medals - including eight gold - from the five day event.

More than 300 athletes from seven countries, including Japan, Australia, South Africa and Canada competed.

Kylie Walker, who's 33, proved age is no barrier by winning gold in the Women's Open Individual Trampoline event.

She was the 1992, 1994 and 1998 world champion for Double Mini Trampoline and came

out of a five year retirement last year.

GymSports New Zealand's chief executive Catherine Clark is the talent of younger athletes us particularly impressive and she predicts New Zealand will be a force in future Olympic

Games.
