The New Zealand Breakers remain top of the Australian National Basketball League following a 120-108 victory over the Gold Coast Blaze at the North Shore Events Centre.
Kirk Penney top scored for the Breakers with 29 points, while Rick Rickert and C J Bruton chipped in with 22 points apiece and Phill Jones 21.
Shane Heal led the under-strenght Blaze with 23 points.
Both sides got into foul trouble and made extensive use of their benches.
The Breakers led 59-57 at half time and then outplayed the visitors in the final quarter to draw away.
The 4 and 1 Breakers now face their first away game at the Cairns Taipans next Wednesday.
