The Indian cricket star Sachin Tendulkar has played down security concerns ahead of their home test series against Australia, saying cricketers will never be targeted in India.
After a spate of bomb blasts across New Delhi in recent weeks, Tendulkar, who's one of India's most famous public figures, declined to comment on Australia's security fears, but he insisted Indian players wouldn't come to any harm in their homeland.
Australia open their four-test tour with a four-day practice match starting on Thursday in Hyderabad.
