The Melbourne captain Cameron Smith will have to fight to save his National Rugby league judiciary after being charged with a grapple tackle by the match review committee.
The Kangaroos test hooker faces a minimum two week ban for the charge during his side's semi-final win over Brisbane at the weekend.
Smith must beat the charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night to play any part in the Storm's quest for back-to-back premierships.
Meanwhile teammate and Kiwis international Jeremy Smith has also been charged with an illegal tackle but can accept a one week ban with an early guilty plea which would rule him out of Friday's semi final against Cronulla.
