Djokovic unhappy over Roddick comments

The third seed Novak Djokovic has criticised Andy Roddick for suggesting he faked several injuries in his previous match after beating the eighth seeded American in the U.S. Tennis Open quarter-finals in New York.

Djokovic struggled with a hip problem and an upset stomach while battling past Spaniard Tommy Robredo in the fourth round prompting Roddick to say the Serb had been supposedly suffering from "16 injuries".

Djokovic's response was booed by the crowd but he wasn't prepared to back down saying the crowd was already against him.

He now faces four-time defending champion Roger Federer.

The other men's semi-final has top-seed and world number Rafael Nadal of Spain facing British sixth seed Andy Murray.
