The Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen has led a list of international arrivals from England, the United States, Canada and Australia today as the New Zealand football team assembles for its world cup quailfying matches against New Caledonia.
Jeremy Brockie's Olympic form has earned a recall to the side replacing injured Celtic striker Chris Killen who needs surgery to remove bone fragments from his knee.
Brockie made his All Whites debut against Malaysia two years ago and won the last of his seven international caps - all as a substitute - against Venezuela in March last year.
The side will train tomorrow and Thursday before flying out to Noumea where they'll play New Caledonia on Saturday night.
New Zealand need to win in Noumea or in Auckland, tomorrow week, to qualify for next year's Confederations Cup and earn a playoff with a yet-to-be-determined Asian nation for a place at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
