The Olympic gold medal winner Rafael Nadal remains on top of the men's tennis rankings for the second week in a row while Ana Ivanovic stays on top of the women's rankings.
Ivanovic reclaimed the top spot a week ago from fellow Serb Jelena Jankovic, who enjoyed just seven days as number one.
Ivanovic led the rankings after her victory at the French Open, where she defeated Jankovic in the semi-finals.
Olympic women's doubles gold medallist Serena Williams of the United States moved up one place to third. Her sister Venus is the other American in a list dominated by six Russians, with fourth-ranked Svetlana Kuznetsova the highest.
