Shot putter Valarie Vili is now the Olympic and world champion, dominating the final from her first throw, a personal best of 20 metres and 56 centimetres.
Caroline and Georgina Evers Swindell have retained their double sculls rowing title while single sculler Mahe Drysdale won bronze as did men's pairs George Bridgewater and Nathan Twaddle.
Meanwhile cyclist Hayden Roulston has sealed silver in the individual pursuit.
