A shoulder injury has ended the Warriors loose forward Micheal Luck's run of 70 consecutive National Rugby League appearances.
The 26-year-old has been left out of the line-up for the round 23 clash against Cronulla at Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday night.
Luck is the NRL's top tackler but he was forced off the field in last weekend's win over Brisbane and is likely to be sidelined for two matches.
With Luck out the 19-year-old Ben Matulino is promoted from the bench to make his first start.
The 158-game veteran Wairangi Koopu returns to the bench while fullback Wade McKinnon will have only his second outing of the year.
