IOC investigates claims of media censorship in Beijing

The International Olympic Committee is investigating complaints that some internet services at the main media centre in Beijing have been censored.

Some visiting journalists have complained they've been unable to access the website of human rights organisations like Amnesty International.

The BBC's Gordon Farqhar says they've encountered some restrictions on the internet and the search is slow.

Meanwhile Chinese officials are claiming their anti-pollution measures have helped dramatically improve the city's air quality. The skies have become much clearer over Beijing after a day of strong winds.
