The Hawke's Bay hooker Hikawera Elliot's still pinching himself after his shock call-up to the All Blacks squad as cover for the injured Andrew Hore for this weekend's must-win Tri-Nations/Bledisloe Cup test in Auckland.
It's a remarkable rise considering Elliot only made his Super 14 debut this year for the Hurricanes.
New Zealand haven't lost at Eden Park since 1994....and the last time the Wallabies won there was 22 years ago -- so Elliot will be hoping he won't be part of a side to break that record.
But he says while his shock All Black call-up was unexpected, now he's there he's going to give it his best shot....
