Ellesse Andrews has won silver in the women's track cycling keirin event final while injury replacement Campbell Stewart secured silver in the men's omnium event.

Kiwi kayaker Lisa Carrington won her third gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics after taking out the K1 500 final.

Carrington had already secured two gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics and is now the most successful NZ Olympian of all time, with five golds in total.

In the men's K2 1000m, Max Brown and Kurtis Imrie finished fifth in their final.

Meanwhile, New Zealand shot putter Tom Walsh has won bronze in the Olympic shot put final. Fellow NZ shot putter Jacko Gill finished ninth, narrowly missing out on advancing with the top eight.
