The New Zealand athlete Kimberley Smith has finished fourth in a quality 5000 metre field at the Galan Grand Prix meeting in Stockholm.
Meseret Defar of Ethiopia won easily in a time just outside the world record, while Beijing-bound Smith was well outside the national record time she set last week.
Nadzeya Ostapchuk of Belarus won the women's shot put with a throw of 20.33 metres, a distance that'll be competitive with Valerie Vili in Beijing.
Meanwhile Jonathan Wyatt won the annual Grossglockner Berglauf mountain race in Austria in a record time.
