The former Silver Fern Temepara George is staying in New Zealand to play for the Northern Mystics in next season's trans-Tasman netball competition.
George says she's signed a letter of intent with the Mystics, and she's also landed a job with Counties Manukau netball as their development manager, meaning she may be available to play for New Zealand again.
But she's ruled herself out for this year.
George has been commuting from Queensland since her partner, the former Kiwi forward Sione Faumuina, has been playing for the Cowboys in the National Rugby League.
