Warriors out for home final

6:11 am on 12 August 2010

The Warriors first priority this weekend is two more points to secure their place in the National Rugby Leagues top eight, but their ultimate aim is a place in the top four.

The Warriors have a home game on Sunday against the Newcastle Knights who've won their last two games, but are four points behind the Warriors in 10th place.

Looking beyond this weekend's game centre Brent Tate says it would be a huge boost if they could break into the top four and force their Aussie rivals to fly across the Tasman come finals time.

Tate says a lot of Aussie-based players hate coming over here when it's wet and cold and miserable, conditions which would favour the Warriors.

Tate says he'd love nothing more than to finish his term at the Warriors on a high note because they deserve some success.

Coach Ivan Cleary has been able to name an unchanged side for Sunday's game at Mt.

Smart.
