India-Sri Lanka Test decider evenly poised

The third and deciding Sri Lanka-India cricket Test in Colombo is evenly poised after three days following a fighting finish to the day by India.

From 321 for six in their first innings at lunch, India's lower order batsmen saw them through to 436 and a first-innings lead of 11 runs.

And Virender Sehwag, who started the day by completing his 21st Test century, took two wickets to leave the hosts tottering at 45 for two in their second innings.

Sehwag's 109 would have given him a hundred in each of his last five Tests, but for being dismissed for 99 in the second Test against Sri Lanka.
