No change at top of Tour de France table

5:59 am on 23 July 2010

Luxembourg's Andy Schleck scored his second stage win on the Tour de France on the final climb of the race, but the Spaniard Alberto Contador took another big step towards his third overall victory.

The pair were peerless as they raced wheel to wheel ahead of the main bunch on the last ascent to the Pyrenees summit, crossing the line together and embracing after being credited with the same time.

The defending champion Contador retains his 8 seconds advantage over Schleck with more than 3-and-a-half minutes back to third placed Samuel Sanchez, and the tour is likely to be decided in Sunday's time trial with the Spaniard notably a stronger time trialist than Schleck.
