Sachin Tendulkar's blood is to be used in a special edition of a biography of the Indian cricket legend.
The book is due out in February with 10 copies being printed using his blood.
The publishers say the paper pulp of the signature page will be mixed with Tendulkar's blood to create a red resin.
The 10 blood copies have all been pre-ordered and cost $100,000 each.
Each of the 852 pages are half a metre square and edged in gold leaf and weigh 37 kilogrammes.
