Roy Hodgson will be named as the new manager of English football club Liverpool according to a report in the Liverpool Echo newspaper
The paper says Hodgson will sign a contract with the club after Liverpool negotiated a compensation package with English Premier League rivals Fulham for his release.
Hodgson is set to replace Rafael Benitez after the Spanish manager's six-year spell in charge at Anfield ended earlier this month by mutual consent.
