New Zealand's Ben Townley has made the podium for the first time this season in round five of the AMA Pro Motocross championship held in Denver, Colorado
Townley posted a 6-2 score for second overall and now has his sights set on his first AMA Motocross win.
He's still seventh in in the overall standings but is only 16 points behind the second placed Australian Brett Metcalfe, who's 51 behind the leader American Ryan Dungey.
But another New Zealander, Josh Coppins, is well down the field after nine rounds of the MX1 GP World Championship.
Coppins finished 14th in the first race in Latvia and ther chain came off his bike on the second.
He's 14th in the MX1 World Championship with round 10 in Sweden this weekend.
