The fourth seed Andy Murray's Wimbledon challenge has gathered pace as he cruised past 26th seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon in straight sets to make the last 16.
Murray, hoping to become the first British man to win the singles here since 1936, produced a clinical display and will head into the second week full of confidence after what he called a "good match".
Murray says he started well against Simon, who's a very good player who's come back from injury and improved as the match went on, the Scot worrying about the impending darkness before he managed to close it out.
