The All Blacks first five eighth Dan Carter has been cleared to play in Saturday night's second test against Wales in Hamilton.
Carter suffered a calf strain in the first test win in Dunedin and has taken a limited part in training this week.
However he took a full part in today's session and then spent time doing goalkicking practice to prove his fitness.
Had Carter not played Aaron Cruden would have come into the starting fifteen and Luke McAlister who joined the squad as injury cover would have come into the reserves.
