Timana Tahu is set to miss the third State of Origin rugby league match as he faces a four to five match suspension.
Tahu's been charged with a grade three reckless high tackle for what appeared to be a high swinging arm hit on the Knights winger James McManus during his Parramatta team's 6-4 NRL loss in Newcastle last night.
It was the 29-year-old's first match since he walked out of the New South Wales camp before the second Origin match camp.
Tahu was objecting to racist remarks made by the Knights great Andrew Johns, who subsequently resigned as the Blues' assistant coach .
But he says the return to Newcastle wasn't a factor and nor was he fired up in response to allegations from former players that racism has been part of the Newcastle club for years.
