A goal in each half from Diego Forlan helped Uruguay to a 3-nil victory over hosts South Africa in their World Cup group A match in Pretoria.
South Africa finished with 10 men after keeper Itumeleng Khune was sent off in the 76th minute.
Forlan scored from the resulting penalty to add to the one he scored in the 24th minute.
Uruguay lead Group A with four points from two games with South Africa on one. France and Mexico, both on one point, meet each other in the same group in Polokwane tonight.
