No fear of Maroons complacency going into State of Origin two

Queensland's league captain Darren Lockyer says there's no fear of complacency going into tonight's second State of Origin match against New South Wales in Brisbane.

One up and on the verge of a fifth straight series win, Lockyer hasn't forgotten how close Queensland came to an embarrassing fourth straight series loss in 2006.

And while the racial row sparked by NSW winger Timana Tahu's allegations against former Origin star Andrew Johns continues to engulf the Blues, Lockyer says his team are bracing themselves for the full force of a NSW side steeled by the events of the past week and a fear of being remembered for losing a fifth straight Origin series.
