The Sri Lankan cricketers have made a winning start in the defence of their Asian Cup One Day title with a 16-run victory over Pakistan in Dambulla.
After scoring 242 for nine, Sri Lanka reduced Pakistan to 32 for four before captain Shahid Afridi launched a counter-attack, scoring a century, however they were dismissed in the 47th over.
