Waikato's most-capped current rugby player Sosene Anesi will move back to New Zealand to play for his province in this year's national provincial campaign.
The 29-year-old, who most recently played for the New South Wales Waratahs in the Super 14, has signed for one season with Waikato and will join the pre-season training squad later this month.
Anesi has played 76 games for Waikato since his debut in 2003.
