The Indycar driver Mike Conway is recovering after undergoing surgery to repair his broken left leg suffered in yesterday's horrific crash in the Indianapolis 500.
The Briton went airborne sideways into the fence in a violent crash during the closing laps of the race.
A spokeswoman for Conway's racing team also says he's been diagnosed with a broken bone in his back.
