The British fourth seed Andy Murray has crashed out of the French Open tennis tournament, losing in straight sets to Tomas Berdych in a rain-disrupted match in the evening gloom.
The 12th-seeded Czech will face Russia's Mikhail Youzhny for a place in the semi-finals.
Murray, a quarter-finalist in 2009, was angry that the match was concluded at 9.30pm in fading light and after they had already suffered a 40-minute rain delay.
