Rugby League: Warriors get to enjoy home comforts early on

The Warriors will get to enjoy home comforts in the early rounds of next year's National Rugby League competition.

Four of their opening six games in New Zealand with a rare first round home game at Mount Smart Stadium along with two other matches in Auckland and a one in Christchurch.

Coming off their first taste of finals football in seven years, the Warriors will kick off their 25th season in the competition against the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday, March 16th in Auckland.

Game two is against Wests Tigers in Sydney.

They head to Christchurch for round three against Manly, which is a home game for the Sea Eagles then back to Mount Smart for game four, agaisnst Gold Coast.

Game five is away to South Sydney with game six against North Queensland in Auckland.

The NRL season will open in Melbourne for the first time since 2009 when they host Brisbane, while the Storm face the Sydney Roosters in a grand final rematch on Good Friday in round six.
