Bulls lock out for a month

7:24 am on 21 May 2010

The Bulls and Springbok lock Bakkies Botha has been banned for four weeks after recklessly charging into a ruck during last weekend's Super 14 rugby match against the Stormers.

The suspension means Botha will miss this weekend's semi-final against the Crusaders in Soweto, the Super 14 final on the 29th of this month if his side makes it, and Tests against Wales and France in the first two weeks of June.

Botha's month off comes only three weeks after his return to rugby from a long injury lay-off.

The experienced Danie Rossouw is the likely replacement for Botha in the Bulls line-up against the Crusaders.
